Region Dalarna seeks a first-line manager for the orthopedic department at Mora Hospital (Avd 41). The department has 24 inpatient beds and handles both acute and elective orthopedic surgery (hip, knee, shoulder, foot, hand). You will lead a team with full responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and budget in a 24/7 setting. The hospital serves a high volume of acute orthopedic patients due to nearby ski resorts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop operations at orthopedic inpatient department (24 beds)
- Ensure patient safety, quality and efficiency in care processes
- Responsible for staff, work environment and budget in 24/7 operations
Requirements
- Licensed nurse (legitimerad sjuksköterska)
- Several years of experience in inpatient care
- Experience with staffing and scheduling
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
- Class B driving license
