Dorotea Municipality seeks a unit manager for its Individual and Family Services (IFO) department. The municipality is located in northern Sweden, offering access to wilderness with mountains, lakes, and forests alongside a close-knit community with short decision paths. You will lead a team of 6 social workers and 3 treatment staff, with the social director as your direct manager and a place in the Health and Support Services management group. Responsibilities
- Lead, plan and monitor operations following laws, regulations, and governing documents
- Hold operational, staff, work environment, and budget responsibility for the unit
- Develop operations with focus on citizens and create conditions for employee development
Requirements
- Social work degree (Socionomexamen)
- Management/leadership experience
- Good knowledge of social services operations involving authority exercise
- Experience in similar managerial roles within Individual and Family Services (preferred)
