Saab Underwater Systems seeks a Product Manager to lead their torpedo systems portfolio, including light and heavy torpedoes and related equipment. This role spans the entire product lifecycle from concept phases to decommissioning, requiring strategic thinking about product roadmaps and profitability. You will work with customers to sell roadmaps that finance future development while collaborating across departments including strategy, development, and aftermarket.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product roadmap and capability plans throughout product lifecycle
- Lead product decision-making at Product Council and coordinate with strategy, development, and customers
- Collaborate with market, contracts, development, and production across all phases
Requirements
- Strategic, long-term thinking with business acumen
- Strong communication and ability to engage customers and stakeholders
- Skill in finding compromises between customer needs and organizational capabilities
- Must pass security clearance (required for defense sector work)
