Sundsvalls kommun seeks a Unit Manager to lead a new team of employment consultants within the Work and Provision unit. This is a key leadership role in the Individual and Labor Market Administration, responsible for guiding around 18 staff members to help municipal residents achieve self-sufficiency through work or studies. The position involves developing new ways of working as the municipality expands its services under new activity requirements starting July.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate work for a team of employment consultants, delegating tasks and supporting collaboration with partners
- Drive strategic development and systematic quality improvement based on performance indicators
- Ensure systematic work environment management and stay current with methodological developments in the field
Requirements
- Academic degree relevant to the position (e.g., social worker or behavioral science)
- Work experience in the labor market field
- Experience leading staff as a manager or in another leadership function
- Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
- Valid class B driver's license
- Good computer skills with basic Office package knowledge
