We are looking for a unit manager to lead the Consulting Team at Hjälpmedel SAM, a department within Region Gävleborg that provides assistive devices for people with mobility, speech, cognitive, and medical disabilities. This operational leadership role involves managing approximately 20 staff, ensuring high-quality service and efficient case handling, and driving development of work methods. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of ~20 staff with full responsibility for operations, employees, economy, and work environment
- Drive improvement and development work, ensuring high-quality service and efficient case handling
- Be an active, present leader responsible for consulting, trials, adaptations, and training activities
Requirements
- Higher education relevant to the position
- Work experience in the assistive devices field
- Strong, communicative leadership with integrity and decision-making skills
