Region Västmanland is seeking an assistant operations manager for the Operations Clinic in Köping. You will lead staff and units across surgery, pre- and postoperative care, planning and sterile services while supporting quality, staffing, production and patient safety. The role is central to preparing the clinic’s gradual integration into the new Västerås acute hospital in 2029.
Responsibilities
- Lead operations units, resource planning, staffing, quality and financial performance
- Coordinate medical, organizational and operational change for the move to Västerås
- Develop a sustainable, patient-safe and attractive working environment
Requirements
- Specialist nurse in surgery, anesthesia or intensive care
- Experience from perioperative nursing
- Several years of management experience
- Training and experience in qualified workplace environment work
- Strong IT skills
- Good written and spoken Swedish
- Ability to lead in an inspiring, present and coaching manner
