You will lead Habo Municipality’s Culture and Leisure Service unit, overseeing sports and outdoor facilities, culture and association support, public health, tourism and events. The role includes responsibility for the unit’s six employees, budget and operations, as well as the Hälsocenter public-health initiative. You will work closely with associations, civil society, businesses and other municipal partners to develop attractive meeting places, recreational environments and a vibrant cultural and community life.
Responsibilities
- Lead staff, budget and operational activities for the unit
- Develop sports, outdoor, cultural and community services through collaboration
- Manage the Hälsocenter public-health initiative
Requirements
- Higher education or another relevant post-secondary qualification, or equivalent experience
- Experience with management or leadership roles involving personnel, budget and operational responsibility
- Experience working with associations and civil society
- Strong written and spoken Swedish
- Strong digital skills and proficient use of Microsoft 365
- Valid B driving licence
- Personal suitability as a secure, clear and strategically capable leader
