Skoglunds is seeking a travelling site manager to lead construction projects from planning through completion, primarily in Dalarna and nearby regions. You will oversee site operations, schedules, resources, quality, safety, and project economics while coordinating the project manager, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. The role requires frequent travel, regular Monday-to-Thursday overnights, and independent work on varied sites.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and monitor construction work, schedules, resources, and project progress
- Control project economics, forecasts, ÄTA adjustments, quality, and work environment requirements
- Coordinate and develop employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and client communication
Requirements
- Experience from the construction industry and a strong understanding of the full building process
- Solid knowledge of contracting economics, scheduling, project management, and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
- Knowledge of construction contracting law, including AB 04, ABT 06, and ÄTA work
- Completed construction technical education or equivalent competence gained through work experience
- Strong administrative and digital skills, clear spoken and written Swedish, and a B driving licence
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, travel regularly, and lead teams on varied sites
