Brokk is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead and develop its global procurement function. You will combine strategic and operational purchasing with supplier development, commercial decisions, and close collaboration with production, engineering, and sales. The role also involves leading and developing the purchasing team in an international, results-oriented group with short decision paths and a culture of engagement and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop the supplier base and build long-term partnerships focused on cost, quality, risk, and supply security
- Drive proactive purchasing, identify business needs early, and provide commercial solutions across projects
- Lead, engage, and develop the purchasing team while strengthening clear and accountable ways of working
Requirements
- Experience with both strategic and operational purchasing
- Experience in supplier development, negotiations, contracts, and commercial trade-offs
- Strong business understanding and the ability to balance price, quality, risk, and delivery reliability
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing employees
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Post-secondary education in purchasing, technology, or economics, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience
