Bilda Mitt is seeking an Unit Manager for its church profile area, based in Gävle, to lead a team of about eight business developers. The role includes responsibility for staff, work environment, budget, quality, and regional representation. The successful candidate will help develop adult education in cooperation with free churches, Orthodox churches, the Catholic Church, public authorities, and other civic partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and distribute work across a team of approximately eight business developers
- Manage staffing, work environment, budget, quality, and goals for the church profile area
- Represent Bilda with member organizations, public authorities, and other education partners
Requirements
- Relevant education
- Experience in management or team leadership, including change and development work
- Experience with budget responsibility, goal-setting, and performance management
- Knowledge of Bilda’s member organizations and the role of churches in society
- Strong Swedish communication skills, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in Office 365, activity, finance, payroll systems, and AI-supported work processes
- Structured, strategic, analytical, relationship-oriented, and accessible leadership skills
